It’s more dramatic than puppy love … it’s PAPER LOVE, when falling in love with letters, words, and sentiment are put in writing!
With emails, text messages and gchats running our life, the art of receiving a handmade letter are pure moments of love, something that can unexpectedly surprise you anytime of the year. It’s so exhilarating to open up a card sent from someone you love, miss, or about to celebrate in one of life’s greatest moments, like weddings, birthdays or little ones to come!
While we adore Valentine’s Day for so many obvious reasons, this year was even more special for us as we partnered with our friends at Posh Paperie to spread an extra sentiment of love - V-Day inspired gift tags on each of our floral arrangements! We felt so lucky to have married our flowers with a paper piece that so perfectly added that extra touch of… LOVE!

It started almost 10 years ago when Elizabeth had her first daughter, Felicity and wanted to be able to stay home with her. She also wanted to do something outside of being a stay-at-home mom. A few years into the business, when things were just starting to pick up, her brother met and became engaged to an amazing graphic designer, Karrie and the Posh Paperie partnership was born. “We have been making paper dreams come true as a duo for the last 8 years.”
Naturally, Adorations Botanical Artistry (ABA) had to ask Posh Paperie (PP) to give us their inside expert advice on what PAPER LOVE means to them:
ABA: Why is the INVITATION so important?
PP: The invitation is a KEY element in any celebration, and especially in weddings.
The invitation actually sets the tone for the event; it gives guests an idea of formality, color palette, style, etc. and helps them know what to expect and how to dress. Also, the paper goods are one of the FEW tangible elements one can actually save after the event is over.
ABA: What fabulous paper services do you offer?
PP: Our work is all custom - and we can do basically anything you could dream of.
Wedding paper, Birth announcements, Parties, Showers, Holiday Cards, etc! We can do all styles of printing (digital, offset, laser cutting, thermography, letterpress) and any type of embellishments (ribbons, boxes, pocket folds, etc.) including our specialty hand drawn maps!
ABA: Do you believe in love letters?
PP: Of course! In the current technological world we live in...snail mail is almost extinct! It's so much easier to quickly send a text or an email and not get out the pen and paper and locate or purchase a stamp! However, because of this, a love letter via snail mail means *that much more* in today's world. It really shows the person you love, that you took the time and effort, and a few dollars to show you care. Getting a letter in the mail is a rare gift in life!
